Admissions
School Admission Process
Step 1
An Inquiry is made via our website or direct contact with the school, phone, or email.
Step 2
The FAEC team completes an inquiry follow-up within 1-2 business days.
Step 3
After the follow-up, any outstanding information should be provided by the family.
Step 4
Documents will be reviewed to determine if placement at FAEC is appropriate. 1-2 Weeks.
Step 5
If applicable the FAEC team requests that an observation session be scheduled in the student’s current educational setting or held at our school facility.
Step 6
If applicable data from observations are reviewed, and a final determination for admission is made.
Step 7
FAEC will determine if the student is appropriate for our school, communication to parents, and if applicable, a start date given.
Preschool Screening
Preschool screening is offered for three-to-five-year-old children. This screening is used to identify children who may either be at-risk or in need of special services. Each child is assessed in the following areas:
- Speech and language
- Fine and gross motor development
- Conceptual skills
- Social-emotional development
